I've only seen about half an hour of gameplay of RE4 at my friends house, and I didn't find it that scary...more action than scary. Hearing the guys mumbling is kinda creepy though, cuz you can hear them, but don't know where they are. The fact that the creature things pop out of the head once you shoot them I just don't find scary...not a scary adversary.

I thought the zombies were waaay scarier. They're so slow...and lumbering....but so many of them...so ya think it'll be easy to pop those suckers with a gun, but when you reload they keep getting closer...and closer...and OH GOD RELOAD FASTER!!!!!

Mind you, I've never fully played ANY of the resident evil games, but from what I've seen I prefer the zombies. I'm sure once I see more of RE4, I'll most likely agree with the rest of you tho
