Really mind giving me that page #

Also this quote from Lee himself means what then?

"Let it be understood once and for all that I have NOT invented a new style, composite or modification. I have in no way set Jeet Kune Do within a distinct form governed by laws that distinguish it from 'this' style or 'that' method. On the contrary, I hope to free my comrades from bondage to styles, patterns and doctrines."

Taken from Black Belt Magazine article 1971.

To say Jeet Kun Do is a style defeats the true purpose Lee had for it. Lee wanted fighters to reject styles and forms altogether. He used the example of water as it has many forms but is not limited to any of them...it draws on it's surroundings and becomes them...thus the same concept applies to Jeet Kun Do...be as water...adapt to your surroundings and flow free and fluent yet strong and powerful using your opponents motion against them.

At least that is my take on it.
