I dont think its "the end"... I mean yeah I could prolly cost some big bucks in legal disputes... but why would google pay, how much was it? 1.7 billion dollars? just to later lose a legal dispute and close it?
it is prolly trying to incorporate youtube to google video...
even with with google buying youtube, who do ppl expect that they control what is copy righted and what is not, I mean there is like a million ppl using youtube to host their videos, how are they going to go over that?
and for me, those companies shouldnt be "throwing the rock" at youtube, it is only a service, they should be focusing their attention to those that are uploading the videos, cuz they are the ones violating the copy right.
I think that google its gonna get away with it...
