My favorite genre would probably be fantasy. I love being able to watch something that could absolutely never happen in reality after living in reality for so long. Right now Bleach and Fushigi Yuugi would be high on my list. I also like vampire stories. Although that reaches beyond anime and into practically anything and everything vampirish. I recently got into yaoi cause a friend introduced me. Lots of people ask me why I like watching/reading about boys on boys since I am hetero, and I think its because the stories for the most part are really really romantic with a hint of "oh they shouldn't be doing that". Plus, for the most part they aren't acting like the stereotype that is out there now. I dunno just my thoughts.
