Uh...Hayashibara Megumi is so great because she can act through a variety of characthers anywhere from the childish carefree nature of Lime (Saber Marionette R, J, J to X) to a more silent, mopre serious char such as Ayanami Rei (Evangelion) at a high level of work.
Especially when she is doing the voices of the "childish" characters I think that she is unmatched. Her voice is so...cute and soothing. LOL, I especially loved her as Lime in the Saber Marionette series. I dont think that anyone else was better suited for that char other than her.
No other seiyuu can comes close to her in my opinion when it comes to doing a cute energetic char...well, maybe Momoi Haruko and Tamura Yukari. |
