| Re: Is Homosexuality a sin? I can't be entirely certain that God made man homosexual. For all I know, it's really Satan's doing. I mean, look, everyone is born into the world a sinner - at least, that's what I believe. Everyone falls victim to temptation. Homosexuals are no different. I don't see why homosexuality should be viewed differently from other sins. A sin's a sin, who cares what form it's in? So frankly I can't agree with this "God doesn't send homosexuals to hell" stand. I don't mean that if a homosexual died and stood at the gates he would be denied entrance, but look, what is faith and Christianity if you just keep being homosexual? At least, at the very end, if you repent, you go to heaven. But I really don't think you can be a PROUD homosexual and preach the gospel just as proudly at the same time, because then you're just contradicting the words you preach. If you're a homosexual and truly believe that homosexuality is sin you'd be trying like heck to not give in to your homosexual desires (which I believe are triggered by Satan)... and only God can help you win that battle.
I have bi tendencies, I admit, and it's kind of difficult to shake off, but no one ever said things would be easy. And no, I don't intend to profess to the world that I'm bi and happily BE bi, because to me that's wrong. I know God wants me to love every other bi and homosexual in the world, but that doesn't mean I have to be one myself. |
