Wow!! Today I have deleted over 50,000 usernames based on the below conditions:
Post count: 0
Last login: More than 60 days ago
This has essentially freed up usernames that new members have wanted to register but couldn't because they were "hogged" by non-participating or members that had not activated their account.
Before the cleanup: 60,934 members
After the cleanup: 8,197 members
This cleanup has not deleted posts, and we still have just under 500,000 posts still at AO.
