well my vote went to kage (and yes i did vote a while ago)...

the reason was i guess a bit 2 simple. i love what he did with the reflection on the water, and the water itself looked great. it was simple, but i liked it, and it gave a 3D feel using 2D shapes, also i found it fairly clean, though the render was a tad blurry, but i think it added to the feel of it and it worked well with the sun type flare. the paper overall gave me a feeling of looking over a vast ocean, so i have to give him my vote.

but i'll admit it was a close call with larusa, with the deep dark ocean theme going. the boarder looked pretty cool as well, though i would of like to see it be a bit more like seaweed (which i though she was goin for) and less like vines lol.

but overall it came down to preference, and i love the sun over the sea. kinda reminds me of the beaches here (which i don't get to go out to all that much).
