At the end of that episode that Sazzy is talking about they show Gaara using his sand power to pick up Naruto's hand for a handshake. He isn't completely powerless. Also, if I recall correctly, the Jinchuuriki have very high chakra before they were infused with the spirits. He may not have the power he used to but that doesn't mean he will be weak overall. |
