Happy holidays to everyone here at AO, and also a quick thanks. Most of us college folks in the US are just about getting ready for our winter breaks.
2007 hasn't completely been a smooth ride for those of us who were here. There were many changes, in terms of the site's direction, staff, the culture, etc. And of course whenever there's change there's resistance. Some people left forever, while others stuck it out with the site. I can only say it is a shame because those that left would have probably found the place to be more desirable now than 4-5 months back.
Things are looking up now, we have some folks coming back, some new members that are great contributors in different parts of the site (you folks know who you are). Once again a big thanks to those who are here now, whether you are new or you are one of the old that stuck with us during the drama-era. It took us a long time to get rid of the "cancers" but it was worth it.
