Wow. You obviously know nothing of the group. Your sources? What sources? Your screwed up friends? Who are you to judge? You go and say everyone belonging to this group is the same and are probably gay, when thats just messed up.

Like Goths, Emo is just a style in clothes and a taste in music. Or emotional could mean that the person is.. Emotional. That doesn't mean they hate life, it just means they over react to situations, or get sadder or even happier.

You really need to stop judging people, and on top of that, you need to stop acting like you specialize on emos and goths.

Aggreed. Though, I tend to think that emo kids are kinda annoying from time to time, that does not make me OR you an expert on emos and goths.

Just as Maromi said, it's all pretty much they style of clothing and music that defines the two groups. And I hardly think that my friend--who just so happens to be goth--would like your comparison of emo kids to goths. In fact, I'm sure he'd break one of your limbs. The dude's huge!

There is nothing emo about Death Note, nor is there any similarity between emo and goth genres. The music, different. Clothing, MUCH different. Emotional perspectives, like comparing apples and oranges.

Stereotyping pepole is not stating fact. Were I you, I'd look up some facts before you go using the opinion of homophobic jack-asses and urban myths. Why don't you try to interact with the people for yourself. Because saying "Emos cut them selves, hate life, and tend to be gay" is like saying, "All black people are in gangs".
