People who are considered "abnormal" are usually the ones who make major discoveries or do something to change the world. Martin Luther King, Jr., for example, was considered an "abnormal n****r" due to the fact that unlike most of the black population back then, he said things that most blacks were afraid to say. Yet, because of him and several others like him, we have rights that were unfathomable back then. Benjamin Franklin probably looked like a lunatic just sitting outside in a thunderstorm flying a kite, but thanks to him, we've got electricity--without which, we couldn't enjoy our video games and anime. Nor could we read manga at night. Unless you've got plenty of candles.
Call it as you see it if you want, but just remember that the crazy cat lady next door to you is probably gonna be the next Nobel Peace Prize winner. |
