| Re: Should a President Serve For More Than Two Terms? They used to be able to serve more terms but when the 22nd amendment was created it stated that "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once." President Elect-Articles
I agree with it. It's nice to have new ideas in the White House every two terms if the same president is elected twice. I don't think they should be able to serve more then 8 years.
