Imagine a land desperate after much wartime; the people are just finally getting back to their daily lives. Heavy casualties suffered on all fronts, many towns and cities now lay in ruin. Gods have been cast aside like leftover breakfast. To top it all off, demons have always pillaged, roamed free and hunted humans down as though they were the easiest prey. There had always been very little humans could do against their might, only a select few could actually defend themselves well and even a smaller group hunted demon as though they were the worms. Diseases spread like wildfire, claiming many lives and loved ones. There is no human alive now that remains unaffected by the despair. All hope seems lost, even the fated Demi-god brothers bring no solace in their hearts. Nothing could redeem the lost smile, that forgotten facial feature that brings hope and dreams. The smile that could bring back an entire race.
For a select few, that smile is only another way to reach the same goal but an easier option lies ahead in the city of Solm. A tournament unlike which has been seen for a century. Lore speaks of it only as the breeding grounds of the elite. Legend tells a different story, one of a Champion that is able to rid the land of all dangers. What are lies, what is truth has been clouded and perverted in the passing decades.
The tournament itself is truly a gathering of fighters of all kinds, even demons and half-breeds are allowed to compete. No race discrimination, only the strong survive while the weak try again or die. A serious of rounds, each getting harder as the winner proceeds until only one is crowned Undisputed Champion.
But what could possibly the winner of such an event receive after winning such a competition. Surely no amount of riches could replace the ache and despair one could feel when returned to the real world. Both Lore and Legend speak of an object made by the first god ever in existence with the power to grant any one single wish the caster wishes. The object is only limited by two restrictions however and the first is upon the creativeness of the caster. The second the wish could only be granted to the caster alone, it cannot save beings which it does not know.
Many thieves, bandits if you will, have studied and crammed the passing teaching through the ages, waiting for the Tournament to begin. Not to steal the object, but to win it for it is told that only the winner could get the object and all else who sought to steal it would face certain death, for it is told that Death itself watches over it endlessly like an owl piercing gaze on a mouse.

Okay, I’ve had this RP planning in my head for a REALLY long time now, but never really got around to posting it. You see, this is a most unusual RP in some instances and one that not many would be willing to join... unless you love to battle.
Okay, basically I'm taking this directly from my book, not the story or anything. Just a tournament known as The Strongest Man. We would all post new (or already created characters) for the RP. Well, here is where it gets weird for many reasons. Simultaneously we are all fighting someone else from the RP. It is a free for all.
What makes this different from just any battle is that it is still considered an actual RP on many reasons. Yes it will have a very decent plot. All talking, moving, everything RP thread. It may get a little confusing form time to time, but don't forget to use a quote in your post if that helps you out. Get it so far?
Sounds confusing right? I mean who is going to make sure no one is God-moding, who is going to take control of the random first round? That will all be me of course. It will be done in the form of one of the Tournament's committee. In other words, I will be using an NPC in the form of a Committee Member whenever something that needs to be said is said or some action or penalty to be done gets done.
Are you still confused? Well, let’s get on starting and finishing a battle since I believe everyone knows how a battle goes about. I will make several "portals" in the RP between the combatants that links from the main Colosseum to their chosen arena. Yet instead of just following the link as one normally would, we do something weird again. We would RP the character entering the Battle arena cheering (or booing in some instances), bowing to the opponent (or any other action), and then the battle begins. It truly isn’t nearly as confusing as it may sound, believe me.
A couple things to note are the crowd’s reaction, weather, the type of arena you—the fighters—will be fighting in. Yes, each arena will be different from the next and the crowd’s reaction will determine if the committee will put in some extra dangers or if the action is good enough. The character sheet is the Battle Arena sheet is below if you want to get a jump start on making one, or if you already have a fighter in here in mind.
I will be putting in a LOT of effort into this; I truly hope that it may come to fruition. But with the lack of interest in battles, all I can do is try.
