To make it simple, that person is a complete moron.
You should try testing this person. Let him hear different songs, some made by more established artists (preferably the ones he doesn't know) and some made by 'garage bands'.
Ask him to separate the two kinds and if he can't do it you have proof that he was just talking out of his ignorant ass. |
