| Re: The Root of All Evil _______ is the root of all evil.
The fact that it's a blank, something that can be anything, and I have the freedom to choose... to think... to ponder... to create something in that blank... IS the root of all evil.
The ability to think for myself is the root of all evil.
-If I had not thought of it, it would have never happened.
-If I had not thought of it, it wouldn't have spread.
-If I had not thought of it, it would not have been learned.
-etc
With every choice, there's a consequence... with every action, there's a reaction...
But if it were just that... just a reaction... and no thought came with it, then it would not be considered evil.
If no one can claim it is evil, or even THINK it is evil... then the idea of "evil" (which is a perception, not an absolute to the senses) would not exist.
And therefore, not be evil.
...as a villain or supercomputer would agree with me: Good and evil is created/perceived by humanity. Get rid of what makes a "human", and the problem is solved. |
