SFO is the abbreviation for the San Fransisco Airport (which is considered Northern California). Do be forewarned that along the California coast, it's quite common to have daily highs in the mid-50s (that Fahrenheit) even during the summer, so pack a coat. Also, customs laws have recently changed to require having a passport ID to cross over the Mexican border. And of course remember that you drive on the right side of the road... (grumble grumble grumble)
