| Re: Virtual Reality Series Area 8, Colony Haunted Zake
After the battle on board the Silver Craft and the disruption from Tornado Spacer, nothing fully remains of the craft in the vast space. Far slightly away from the wreckage, the secret colony silently waited as a glimmer of light sparkled in a far distance boarded the colony.

Down on Mystic, Professor Vicra was comforted as a message from the Night Colony came through. She felt upset yet pleased as a picture of what remains was shown. The message suddenly broke up as Icla brought in a sealed case; Vicra turned and wondered about the static.
“Sorry if it broke the signal,” Icla muttered and placed the case on a table. “But I think this should be told to them.” Vicra couldn’t think what he was talking about as he opened the case. Inside was a small crystal that sparkled with life and fizzed of shocks. They heard everyone start complaining about computers jamming and breaking up like the message from the colony and turned to everyone. Vicra turned back to the crystal starting to react to all of the machinery.
“What is it, Icla?” Vicra asked with panic in her voice, it was unbelievable to watch but Vicra couldn’t help but quickly shutting the case with a slam. The computers around them returned to normal. Noticing that the moment had been precise meaning that the crystal had caused it, they carefully opened it a jar just as the closest machinery reacted just to be sure. “Where did you find this?”
“On an exhibition while they were busy with the Silver Craft.” Icla replied as they took the crystal out of the room. The next room contained no mechanical machines that could be tampered by the crystal. “It did the same thing when we tried to examine it, still it hasn’t stopped being so active. Crystals like this generally stop in a few minutes after discovery; this is taking over two hours.” Vicra was startled as they carefully opened the case again; the static around the crystal had slowly shrunk to tiny specks on the surface.
“I think Sparker or Riowner might have seen something like this before on Tetris.” Vicra wondered and turned to Icla. “Make sure no one tries to steal it while I call Night.”

Hal on Night waited as an automatic door opened for him and entered Thomas’ room. Thomas was sat on his bed with a book he had from a rucksack he recovered from the Silver Craft five hours ago.
“So, what’s this then?” Hal asked as Thomas sensed his presence beside him. On one of the pages, there was a strange kind of bonsai, which in place had berries; on the trunk were broken bark, and a branch flourished with blossoms. Thomas looked up at Hal as he joined him on his right.
“These are advanced earth abilities that were used on the Silver Craft.” Thomas explained as he noticed Hal laid back and wasn’t fully amused. Abilities to grow new kinds of life, I bet. Hal thought as Thomas shook his head. “This page talks about seeing others through this method. For example, all their conditions and thoughts can be seen using this. The one by us shows you were thinking that you were judging the page.” Hal sat up and caught sight of a plant on the bedside; the moment he shot up, the plant suddenly grew vines round the trunk and sprouted leaves. Thomas laughed as Hal felt confused, Thomas also watched as the vines disappeared and plant bent to the side.
“Cool,” Hal said as the plant returned to normal with green leaves sprouting out like it just turned summer. Hal looked at Thomas and felt impressed. “So, how do you grow them?” Thomas smiled and held the book so Hal could see.
“It’s actually quite simple, just a seed of an Alcas and who the thought on who you want it to represent.” Thomas explained, he turned to a bag beside them and pulled a small pouch and opened it to small pink seeds.
“Wait, you made that one act with me,” Hal exclaimed as the plant reacted with a branch breaking off and dissolving into the soil. There was a slight pause as the branch grew back into place. “Can it be anyone you like and swap them?”
“Unfortunately, swapping to certain people isn’t a good idea.” Thomas sighed placing the book between them and stood up. Heading round the bed to the other side of the room he picked up another one, while Hal studied the pink seeds and the book. When Thomas returned with another Alcas plant, Hal was surprised and shocked.
“What happened to that must be?” Hal wondered with an expected idea Thomas may already has.
“I found out when trying this one on Gillian but,” Thomas looked down at the plant; the trunk had broken in half like something had slashed the plant down the bark. “Gillian switched to Galax at some point and now this Alcas is dead.” Hal turned to the other Alcas which all of the leaves rotted and suddenly spilled dew onto the soil and plant pot. Looking back, he noticed Thomas also watched it seem to die in front of them. “I think it died because of ‘you know what’ down in the security hold.”
“You had one setup when we were given these rooms?” He asked while the houseplant’s leaves started to refresh and tilted in different ways. Thomas nodded, Hal smiled took a pink seed from the pouch and left the room and turned to Thomas before he left through the slid open door. “I’ll try it out; I just hope I don’t waste them all.” Thomas just laughed as he Hal felt puzzled as Thomas stopped and shook his head. |
