My living philosophy mostly follows along the lines of Epicurieanism, which is summed in short by Epicurus' statement:

We must exercise ourselves in the things which bring happiness, since, if that be present, we have everything, and, if that be absent, all our actions are directed towards attaining it.

I don't focus on negative things, nor do I feel obligated to do much of anything that doesn't make me happy. I guess it's sort of like being an opportunistic optimistic, I live my life doing mostly just things that are fun and jolly. I shrug off everything bad, and never let it affect me. It really is quite an enjoyable life philosophy to me.
