The GP-02 was a more of a specialty suit than either the GP-01, it's Fb version, or the Stamen. Simply put, it was a nuclear delivery suit and had no real offensive capabilities other than it's beam sabers and vulcans. Sure it was a pretty manuverable suit, but it wasn' really designed for frontline combat; more like rear support. It's was probably designed ta b a set up for this scenario; The GP-02 would come in, with the GP-01 and Stamen providin' protection; fire it's nuke at the enemy forces in front; and the GP-01 and Stamen would come in and mop up what's left. That's most likely how it was intended ta b set up, as far as their design goes; but that's jus' my opinion.
