That may have been in the video game, but in Stardust Memory; the GP-02 displayed no such ability. All it had was a bazooka that was capable of deliverin' Nukes, other than that; it had ta rely upon it's Beam Sabers and Vulcans in combat. I'm not sayin' that the GP-02 wasn' kool (I like the suit, personally, myself), nor am I sayin' that it wasn' effective in it's role. I'm jus' sayin' that it wasn' really designed for front-line combat and that it's capabilities were designed so that it could accomplish it's intended role, the delivery of the Nuke. Once that job was done, I doubt that the pilot would stick around ta duke it out wit the enemy that's left, unless his commanders allowed him ta do so. At that point, the GP-02's pilot would haveta rely on close-quarters combat ta b effective, puttin' it at a disavantage. The reason why the GP-02 was so effective durin' Stardust Memory was 'cause Gato was pilotin' it, which goes back ta that old sayin'; "A suit is only as good as it's pilot."
