They had just started such testing when I was in 10th grade. Of course, around a Military Base, they had a little more testing because the Military was paying for part of the schooling. If they're goig to do the tests, then I think they should be teaching everyone the same things in the same grades. I blew off my Senior year and got As, Bs, and Cs. Mostly because the stuff they were teaching was stuff I had already had before in lower grades at other schools. Each school system does not teach the same things, therefore testing by States doesn't make a lot of sense unless all of the schools in the State are teaching the same things at the same time. |
