well scince you are new to anime I would recomend, Naruto, and Bleach, they bith have action and sometimes can be really funny, and for a manga I would recomend ranma 1/2 because it is really funny, and Loveless is my favorite it is a romance, but it is for older teens, so if your like 12 or something then i wouldnt recomend it, right now I am reading Rave master, and that one is pritty good, the art isnt all up to speed but thats because it is old, also watch case closed if you want a mystery, and Kodacha if you want annoying. I am just giving lots of different things because you never know you might like them. also trinity blood is a great one, it is violent but it has great graphics. which blade is good. again that one is for older teens so watch out,
