| Re: The 3089 War Finally digging up the last piece of garbage between him & the spare wheel bay, he cursed out loud as he discovered the tire missing. Shaking his head, he noticed something about the rear left tire. Shifting to that side of the car, he found the spare, the slightly thinner tire already in place on the left rear axle. Cursing & swearing more, he went over his options. He still needed to get out of there, he'll be able to go over the data in the laptop later.
Getting back into the car, he checked to make sure David was still in his holster, his ammo-tracker telling him it had only 1 round left, already in the chamber. Taking it out & reloading it, he decided walking would be the easiest option until he found something more reliable. Placing the now reloaded mini shotgun back in it's holster, he put the laptop into the front pocket of the sports bag, put the handles over his shoulders & headed off wearing it as a backpack. Now all he needed was a destination, a safe house, hotel, somewhere to keep his head down, or even a way to contact any other surviving Nano 300s, preferably ones who weren't gonna try to kill him... |
