Without religion the world would possibly be a little bit better. Okay so what if Josef Stalin was an evil atheistic tyrant. That is one guy. There could be less wars over stupid things. Look at the Crusades, the current War in Iraq. There are other reasons as to why we are in Iraq. Heck even look into what's going on in Isreal.
Christianity has a guideline. You are supposed to love everyone else. We put ourselves before God because he is our father and we are trying to be just like him. We are trying to be just like Christ.
I don't think its stupid. My parents aren't religious and I'm not that religious either. I think that believing in a higher power such as God is to give someone hope and confidence. What is so wrong with that? |
