I found school fun. It's not perfect but that only leads to my wanting it more because I like a good challenge. I love my beautifully penned high school diploma and it makes me proud every time I look at it. What I didn't like about college is having to take classes that didn't suit my creative endeavors... so I took multimedia classes that did not add to an AA degree requirements. I took a lot of art classes. I took a lot of boring classes. Sometimes the teacher is ok. Sometimes boring.... then there's the teacher that really inspires and takes all the students to eye opening field trips. I liked the Ghetty museum. I enjoyed art classes, got into trouble in computer classes and learned some graphic design. I learned what interests me and what doesn't leading to making smarter career choices. I still use painter, photoshop and my i-pen to do digital art. I don't have a degree but am thinking of looking for more courses in computer art. |
