| Re: How did you get interested into your favorite music
I was raised in a rock/metal environment--Mom loves Bob Dylan, uncle loves hair and trash metal, some uncles and aunts are into the classics(rock) and psychedelic, yadda yadda...I was born in 86 when hair metal was hot and my uncle says that the first songs i got fond of are from Slippery When Wet(Bon Jovi) and Open Up and Say Ahhhh (Poison). I have very fond memories of my childhood during the early 90s when hair metal gave way (or was killed) by grunge. As i was growing up i got to discover and appreciate music from Queensryche and DT, Tesla, Vai, Satch, etc....So yeah basically you could map out my musical preference based on what i've said. |
