I was finally able to watch it on sci fi and I think what they said is that it
will save us by the crystals bringing together all their power to stop
whatever it is that will threaten humanity, but their power has something to
do with the planets alignment, which I think happens in 2012, thats why
everyone believes the end is 2012. But then again this could be another 2000
thing where everyone thought the world would end because of the computers.
