Her: You were the one who didnt stop me..
I believe that firstly it would be her fault because walking away is an act of giving up on any responsibilities and/or agreements.
And in the second case, it would be his fault because he would/should love her enough to go after her for a myriad of reasons. But it could also show desperation and/or there could be pre-existing circumstances.
Overall the distrust of one another, as the girl would say that she was testing to see if he cared enough, and he would not have had any idea what was going on, creating despair and distrust which does create a sense of hopelessness...
