Yeah I might have worded it wrong because you didn't understand what I meant.
It's more a way of thinking rather than a way of acting. As you mature you act less recklessly and irrational yes, and that does come with maturity. But ways of thinking are different. Even when people try to change ways of thinking the old ways still come in strong to combat the new ways. Like the way women are treated for instance, they've been fighting for equality for years and it's alot different than it was back in the 50's but in some ways it's no better and men still think the same way they did 50 years ago. It's hard to beak a way of thinking that has been hardwired into you.
Classical conditioning is more a subconscious reaction to something. You see a girl walking around wearing skimpy clothing just about everyone is going to automatically think "Slut" no matter how old or mature you are. It might take a while to get your head around the fact that dressing half naked doesn't make you a slut. And even if you pretend you don't think that, you still do.
Another example is the media and commercials, you see a kit kat bar and if asked you can probably most definitely recite the kit kat slogan song. Same with Coke "Always coca-cola" we've been programmed to react to those products through manipulation and repeated exposure. You just don't mature through stuff like that.
