It really depends on what it is I'm reading.
Comedies - Happy
tradgedies - sad, obviously
Action - mostly happy (for the good guys)
Drama - sad
Romance - I'm a sucker for unwholesome, trajic romances. Happy ones are alright, too.
Violence (Not to be mistaken for action) - sad
