Since I made Resident Evil 4 vs 5 I thought this would aslo be a good form. Which game did you think did a better job and why. Me I loved alot of things about both games so it wasnt a bloodbath for one. Some of the things I loved about Fable 1 is the story, the characters (Lady Gray, Twinblades, and many more). I loved the spells more, it was nice to have armor , it was much easier to get a tattoo cause you could look at the card and see what you were getting, and the last thing I thought was better was there was a boss at the end unlike Fable 2 (which got my very angry). What I loved about Fable 2 was the jobs that made money easy to get and it was fun (for me), I lliked that they had guns in it but I didn't like how they took out the bows and arrows, I really like that when you made money off of houses or stores you didn't have to go and pick the money up which was really nice and cause you didn't pick it up it made it so it wouldn't stop giving you money cause the bag outside your door was full, I liked how the places where much bigger (to me) then in Fable 1 like the towns they just seemed it to me, I liked how they had 50% sells that was nice made me alot of money, and last I would say I really liked my dog he helped me find silver keys, treasures, and helped me dig crap up I was so sad in the ending. I say Fable 1 was better just mostly cause the story but I loved all the little extra things they did in Fable 2 which made it a really nice game.

I don't want to ruin the show for anyone but it sure was a superb way to bring an end to an excellent series. The plot is that one of their wackadoo scams, yet again, goes awry and they are forced to leave the cul-de-sac due to an angry mob of kids wanting to kill them. (not literally) It was really good, as I expected, has anyone else seen it?
I've been a huge fan of the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Trilogy, so maybe it's just my inner fanboy speaking, but I think it has potential to be a half-way decent film adaptation. What are you thoughts?

South Park and other shows( Robot Chicken, Family Guy, various youtube stunts) have been known for over the top humour, normally revolving around shocking themes which can include violence, rape, 'tasteless', profanity and general shock methods. However, even though they've been facing heat, lawsuits and threats forever, when do they go too far?

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have made many movies, many known to us as South Park: The Movie, Team America: World Police, and to a lesser extent, BASEketball and their older films. And while they included constant profanity and parodies of people, now they are actually taking down episodes.

The most infamous and recent being the 'Dead Celebrities' episode, in which they make fun of the recently deceased celebrities, (MJ, Natasha Richardson, Billy Mays, Patrick Swayze, etc.) Do you feel that this is too soon? and did it offend you? Discuss. ;)

I personally enjoy their blatantly crude humour and find that sometimes they're out to offend anyone, and they have consistently done recent hot topics.

I just saw this film and ordered the book. I just wanted to hear interpretations and opinions of others of it.
I found it to be a high quality film, if it is a little disturbing. I began to watch this film with the anticipation that it is a overrated phenomenal concerning the praise that I have heard. I was happy to know that in my opinion it deserved such praise. I enjoyed the directing technique, and while it was very 'choppy' it was done so for a purpose and very comprehensible (unlike films such as The Tracey Fragments).

for all of you a little in the dark, here's a quick
summary of the film.

The main message I got across was that these four individuals all were looking for happiness in their own definition, and mildly achieved it at one moment, even if it was under false circumstances. All they wanted to to be happy, basically.

The movie Gamer made it to Cuba finally. While I lwas excited to see this movie it fell flat. Gerard Butler plays another hardcore warrior but this time in the future. He must win a deadly game in order to be free of a deathrow sentence. No way they copied that from the movie "Running Man" starring the governator. Of course are hero was framed. Here again, no way they copied that from "Running Man"

The movie has a lot of violence laced into it that was put in for no other reason but violence sake. Not to mention tidbits of porn visible throughout the film. Though the movie is very violent it also manages to be gross. There are disgusting scenes featured that are so grotesque I don't care to have my memory jogged by mentioning them here again. Several of the actors such as Michael Hall and Sedgwick are doing well in television and need to stay there. It fails to be an attractive porn (too many scenes with obese people sweating) or even a good action movie (too frenetic and staticy). Get the original Running Man. You at least get great lines like, "Sub-Zero, now just plain Zero."

Everyone on this forum has at one time seen or knows the name "Vampire Hunter D" Well D was actually based on an old movie called Captain Kronos. The author finally admitted this in Pilgrimage of the Sacred And Profane. I had thought as much but couldn't be sure.

Captain Kronos is one of many Hammerstein studios vampire movies. It takes place in Europe, and it is implied France by the courtesy titles used. While the affects are outdated and the acting is typical of the Peter Cushing monotone the sword fighting sequences are very good save for a scene on a hill. Captain Kronos may actually be the first instance of a Dhamphir in cinema, Captain Kronos have been biten by a vampire but somehow strong enough to fight it. This explains why he is the only mortal that can take on the undead in physical combat, though these undead Aren't to strong.

This movie also introduces different type of Vampires besides those who just drain blood. So it has many cinematic first or certainly earliest of many cliches.

Only get this movie if you are an avid fan of Vampire Hunter D, or vampire movies, elsewise you probably will not enjoy it terribly much.

Cascada is back with their third album "Evacuate The Dance Floor." With the industry as it is now there are only a few CDs that come out that I can listen all the way through. This is one of those and while the title track is certainly good I love the song Hold On just as much, since it has a spot for the acoustic guitar. Anyone who loves pop music will find nothing objectionable. The last track is weak but there are a lot of radio stations that refuse to play elctric based music though that is hyporcritical in my opinion given how most albums are created now, it has forced many pop artist to produce tracks that are piano based. The last track is one of those but even that is not a bad song. Though it is far from the cool foot tapping dance inducing first two tracks or the fourth one for that matter.

Buy this if you love good cut loose pop music.

Greetings, fellow AOers.

No doubt you've seen the online advertisments for the new game by Korean developer, Nexon. (If not, please follow this link: Dungeon Fighter Online )

The famed developers of MapleStory have brought us something new and rather original in the form of Dungeon Fighter Online, a massively multiplayer online 2D arcade fighter/RPG hybrid.

Now as we all probably know, MapleStory was and is a huge hit. Will Nexon let us down?

I am glad to say, no.

Now, since I've played the game, I can truthfully say that the fun-factor is way up there. I've never been so addicted to a play-for-free game before.

It harkens back to the days of the classic Streets of Rage and Street Fighter games, making it pure gold for 2D fighter fans.

But is it just another clone from the past? Is it just another Street Fighter with different character skins? Nope, and nope.

With a very interesting leveling and character customization system, this game is sure to keep you busy into the late hours of the night, and the early hours of the morning.

The core gameplay is challenging enough for the hardcore player, but can also be simple enough for the casual gamer.

There are times where the game can be a tad repetitive. It is, after all, half RPG.

It doesn't look like DFO will be faltering from Nexon's tradition of creating online games that break the floor, with both gameplay and graphics.

What do you think?
