Tianka (sarcastically): Great plan

Paris: Don’t start with me Tia

Mally: I want to quit

Salma: WHAT!

Mally: I don’t feel right doing this

Maggi: Whatever you have to help

Mally: I don’t have to if I don’t want to

Paris: Right because you’re KICKED OUT! : mad:

Mally: *leaves*

~Pool~

Aly: GO KARA!

Michelle: GO GO GO!!!!!

Isabel: WOO-HOO!

Selene: KARA!!!!

Announcer: Kara Roberts from Fairfax is in the lead!

Sasuke: Why are all these people shouting?

Aly: For their favorite swimmer

Isabel: To encourage them so they go faster

Announcer: Kara Roberts is 1st, Pamela Barnes 2nd, and
Joan Clayton 3rd

Selene: Kara you’re like a fish in water

Aly: No wonder you got 1st place

Kara: Thanks guys but it wasn’t as easy as it looked

Michelle: Victory celebration, ice cream

Selene: Come on Kara you deserve it

Kara: Thanks but who’s paying?

Michelle: I’ll pay

Aly: Finally, you do all the eating

Michelle: I’ll pretend like I didn’t hear that

Steven: It wasn’t that good

Selene: Oh please you’re just jealous that Kara won.

*they all leave except Steven*

Paris: Hey how’d you like to ruin Kara’s life or even destroy
her

Steven: I wish that was possible

Maggi: It could be possible

Kara: I forgot I left something at the pool

Selene: Uh, Kara why is the pool black?

Kara: It wasn’t like this when I left

*water monster appears*

Michelle: Did it do that?

Selene: Just picked it up

Aly: I think we know who did this

All: PARIS

Paris: You’re dumber than you think

Steven: You won’t be giggling for long*presses button*

Selene: *screams**gets thrown in water*

Sasuke: Selene! *dives in*

Kara: Don’t mess with my friends Pillow Boy*throws
harpoon*

Maggi: That’s the best you could do HA!

Aly: Don’t wanna mess up your face*slings mud*

Maggi: *gets hit* You are so gonna pay for that

Isabel: Oh really? *karate kick*

Salma: Don’t mess with me toothpick!

Michelle: Who you calling toothpick you gigantic tub of fat

Paris: Whatever, the cyclone will handle them. CYCLONES
DESTROY THEM!

*all leave*

Aly: We can’t fight this thing alone

Kara: We’ll buy Sasuke and Selene some time

Isabel: Got it distraction

*Underwater*

Selene (thinking): This is it I’m going away

Sasuke: *grabs Selene *

*rises up to surface*

Sasuke: *does CPR*

Selene: *cough water comes out*

Sasuke: Are you ok?

Selene: Yeah, you saved my life twice. I wish I could do
something for you

Sasuke: I’ll think of something, but now we need to help your friends

Sasuke & Selene: FIRE JUTSU!

*monster destroyed*

Kara: Teach us that after we dry off

Selene: No problem

Chapter 5

~Selene's View~
I felt so weird I'm in love with people that aren't even real. I mean come on Elliott, Mark? Well Sasuke since the sleepover, but why would he like me I'm fat, ugly, I hardly have any hair. Why would anyone like me, I'm a monster. Everyone in my class hates me. I started to cry when I saw a shadow bigger than my own. It was Sasuke, I said” go away leave me alone." He sat down next to me and uncovered my face. I kept trying to hide myself. I didn't want him to see me cry, but he found my face and lifted it. He stared into my eyes but I kept mine closed. He found my tears and wiped them.
~Sasuke View~
She was crying but I didn't know why, so I asked her"What's wrong?” she didn't answer. She just kept crying. I held her very close to me and put my arms around her, even though my shirt got wet from her tears. I never know why girls are such emotional creatures.She seemed really broken up. She finally said"Why are you acting like this? “I just said "Because you are pretty cool, emotional but cool “She cried harder. I knew I screwed it up even more. The only thing left was asking her to the date. This would be the only time we'll be out of public.
Sasuke:Why are you like this?
Selene:...
Sasuke:You're not afraid to put it out there
Selene:People aren't what they seem
Sasuke:People misunderstand me sometimes too
Selene:You're pretty sweet if people get to know you
Sasuke: Don't tell anyone that

Michelle: If you can help me!
Aly:She's stuck tighter than an elephant in a mouse house
Kara:*pops Miriam out*Go pack for Seaside school tomorrow
Isabel: And Valentines Day, the entire 5th grade is going
Selene:OMG! I totally forgot!
Aly:Our ride leaves at 9:00
*all leave*
Sasuke:[Great Job Sasuke]
~Virginia Beach~
Michelle: Look there it is!
Sasuke:We heard
Selene:Michelle you've said that like 7 times now
Michelle: Sorry I'm excited*squeals*
Sasuke:Enough already, my ears are gonna pop
Michelle:Selene can we switch seats, I don't want 2 sit with the pain in my neck
Sasuke:Whatever, wait what!
Selene:No problem Michelle,•whispers•Try to ignore Miriam's snoring

Aly:I've got the solution for that. MICHELLE WAKE UP!
Michelle:Yes Mother! What happened?
Isabel:It’s been like a million hours
Kara:11 hrs
Andrew: You've been whining the entire ride
Alexander:Exept when you were sleeping

Chapter 6

Kara: Are we there yet?
Selene: No
Kara: Wish we’re there already. I sometimes get carsick
All:WHAT!
Emanuel: You got to be kidding me!
Kara: Not kidding
Isabel: Hey! We’re entering Virginia Beach!
*everybody rushes to the windows*
Kara: Finally!
Bus Driver: We’re here at the hotel! *goes outside to unload bags*
Kara:HEY! EVERYBODY SHUT UP!
*everybody shuts up and turns to Kara*
Kara:Tonight there will be a Test of Courage, 12:00, no teachers, and at the seashore. Spread the word so everybody in 5th grade knows. ‘Kay?
All: YES!
Kara: Good
Aly: You handle that well
Kara: Thanks
Selene: Come on lets get our bags
Kara:Sasuke, you stay with the boys. You’ll share a room with them
Sasuke: Sure, who do I follow?
Isabel: Andrew, Alexander, Mehdi, and Emanuel
*Sasuke goes to them*
Selene: Think he’ll be alright?
All:Yeah
Kara: I reserved a room for all 5 of us with a seaside view. Lets go
*Kara leaves*
Aly:How does she do it? *shaking her head*
Selene: Maybe we’ll never know
*all leave*
Michelle:Kara's already looking for our bags. Lets go help
Kara: Found my bag and laptop.
Selene: Found my bag too.
The rest of them: Same here
Michelle: Let’s go

They enter the lobby and signed in. They go upstairs and start unpacking. Their mouths, except Kara’s, dropped open. Four-poster beds and velvet carpets and their own bathroom.

Aly:How’d you reserved a room like this?
Isabel:Yeah, how?

Emanuel: We have the rest of the day as free time on the beach
Selene:Cool. Now get out so we can change

Selene’s bathing suit is a two-piece red bikini, Isabel’s a one-piece green one, Aly’s a two-piece black one, Michelle’s a green one-piece, and Kara’s a two-piece silver one that looks like a one-piece.

*they walked to the beach where everybody is*

Mehdi:Yeah, what’cha doing?
Sasuke:It's like there are a million Naruto's
Kara:That’s it!
*Kara grabs Emanuel and Mehdi by the hair and drags them to the seashore and throws them 10 feet out in the water. Everybody stares, mouths open, and are silent. *
Kara:That’s done
Selene:Thank You
Isabel: Why’d you that?
Kara: They’ve been bothering me for some time
*Emanuel and Mehdi staggered out of the water, dripping wet and with seaweed hanging from their arms. Everybody starts laughing. *
Selene: Who thinks they can beat Kristine at swimming?
All Boys: ME!
Kara: Yeah, right
Assel: Okay, ready, set go!
*They dive in and start swimming.Kristine’s in the lead and was until the finish line. *
Kara: Beat ya!

They spend the afternoon playing. After everybody took a little nap and got ready for the Test of Courage.

Michelle: Ready? Time to draw the pairs

Aly:Isabel and Mehdi, Aly with Andrew, Michelle with Rolando, and Selene with Sasuke. Any questions?
Isabel:I’m fine
Andrew:YAY! THANK YOU MY LOVE ALY!
Selene:*chokes Andrew*
Andrew:I'll be quiet
Michelle: First group, Kara and Emanuel, have to walk for half a mile along the shoreline and find a buried locket.Isabel and Mehdi have to search Room 132 for a locket. Andrew and Aly have to go into the woods and search for a mask with a red ribbon.Rolando and I have to find a perfect rose in the garden.Selene and Sasuke have to walk up the hill and visit a shrine and get a bag of incense. There’ll be a full moon tonight, so nobody gets a flashlight. Be back before 2. Go!

Kara(in the lead): Hurry up!

Isabel:Found it yet?
Mehdi:No
Isabel:You’d better hurry. Deadline’s almost here

*they walk to the hotel and enter the lobby*

Selene:Give the girls your pair’s stuff and lets go to bed

Kara:Tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day. So if you have and valentines put them outside our door
*they walked upstairs to their suite and change into pajamas. Everybody goes to sleep except Selene and Kara*

Kara:I always stay up late. Wanna go for a swim?
Selene:At this hour!?

Isabel:To get the valentines. There’s one for Kristine from Emanuel and one for Aly from Andrew. Oh, wait there’s a valentine for Selene that’s from a secret admirer

Aly:Like she said, it’s from a secret admirer

All thinking except Selene: She was excepting one from Sasuke
Kara:Pack up! It’s time to go home
*on the bus ride home*
Emanuel: Did you get my valentine?
Kara:Yeah and if you send me another one, I’ll hurt you
Michelle:We still have 3 more hours to go before we get home
