My suggestion would be to base the characters on yourself, and those that you know. Writing what you know is the easiest step you can take when developing characters.
I'm hoping I can put this here. I know it's a section for fanfiction, and this isn't a fanfic. It is fanfic related. So, anyways I'll post, I will be moved or deleted, if it must. I can't be breaking any rules...
Well, ok so if you didn't get it from the title. I need help working out a character I've made for my fanfic. I have her background story, and her motivations, her fears, goals, desires, etc. But I can't figure out, basically, how she talks, and in conjunction her mannerisms.
I think for now I'll just ask if anyone thinks they can help. Cause what I do have set out for her is pretty extensive, I think. I've never written it all out before. So, if anyone thinks they can help me, leave a post and I'll add the details.

This is the second revision of this character, which is probably why it's so challenging. I had based her on myself, but it was one of those moments where I didn't notice at first and once I did, I hated the character. (Let's ignore the fact of what that implies.) Well, thanks for that advice, but it's not too helpful. That last bit is true though. I'm not looking for easy, though.
