Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 5)
Darth Night knew what was up when Darth Lucidious activated his lightsaber. He knew he could defeat his apprentice too, but he knew it wouldn’t be right to kill him. He would have to teach him a lesson, “Why are you doing this Lucidious?” Darth Lucidious answered by lunging at Darth Night. Darth Night activated his lightsaber and blocked his attack. Darth Night went on the offensive now and swung his blade. Darth Lucidious blocked his attack and was stuck defending it. He was holding his defensive position, blocking Darth Night’s blade. He saw his only way out and took the chance. He kicked Darth Night in the abdomen, pushing him back a little bit. Darth Lucidious tried using a quick force power to gain the upper hand. He put his hand out and made a gripping motion with his hand. Darth Night stopped and grunted. Force Choke was being used upon him. With one hand he clutched his neck and grunted, “You bastard!” He sent his saber spinning towards Lucidious who stopped using his force power on Darth Night to deflect the saber. Once released Darth Night fell to the floor on his hands and knees. Lucidious picked up Night’s lightsaber and tossed it towards him, “This isn’t a fair fight if you don’t have a saber.” After rubbing his neck, Night picked up his lightsaber and said, “How true. You’ve grown strong, Lucidious. I’ve taught you well.” Lucidious nodded and then prepared to continue the battle between him and his master.
I’ve taught him well, Night thought again to himself, perhaps too well; let’s try a little Dun Möch. Night took the defensive position this time and preformed his force power. Consoles began to fly towards Lucidious. He began to swing at them. Some of the consoles fell; some of them flew past him. Then Night’s chair flew towards him. Lucidious noticed the chair just as it hit him and knocked him on his back. Now Night took the offensive, he ran towards Lucidious who jumped back to his feet and got ready to block the attack. Instead of attacking Night jumped up to his balcony that overlooked the main room from Night’s personal quarters. The balcony was at least thirty feet high. Once Night landed on the balcony he made a gesture at Lucidious that suggested, “Come on up.” Lucidious jumped up to the balcony and blocked Night’s attempted cheap shot. Lucidious swung at Night’s head and the attack was blocked, “My head? You really are an angry one, bur a foolish move none the less!” While blocking Lucidious’s attack Night kicked him in the abdomen and sent him to the edge of the balcony. Lucidious was leaning on the baluster hoping not to fall off. Night began to swing and swing and swing at Lucidious. Lucidious was frightened and he didn’t know what he had gotten himself into, he tried to use Deadly Sight on Night while blocking, but he couldn’t. He was too weak to try such a force power. Night evaded Lucidious’s defense and created a new scar on Lucidious’s face.
The scar was on the same side of his face as his other scar. The new scar went horizontal at the bottom of the other scar. The new scar had created an L-shape on the left side of Lucidious’s face with the old scar. Lucidious screamed at the top of his lungs. He had never felt such pain since he had gotten the first scar. He could not remember such pain. When he opened his other eye and saw that Night had deactivated his lightsaber and was frowning at him, “You failed my apprentice, you are not ready to be emancipated,” Lucidious deactivated his lightsaber. He stood up and looked into Night’s eyes, “If you try something like that again, I can assure you I will not stop and I will kill you. This was your warning, your lesson.” Lucidious was still holding the left side of his face. When I know I’m ready, I will try this again, and I will win, Lucidious thought.
Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 1)
I knew it! -smiles- ^^x.. Hmm.. although I thought that one would kill the other but it makes since that they didn't he still needs training...
Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 6)
Lucidious stood behind his master waiting for orders. Night turned to his grumpy apprentice. He sensed the hatred, the failure, the angst. Night told him his next mission without questioning his feelings, “A squad of rebels is moving to attack an Imperial base. This is no ordinary squad of rebels though. They are highly trained in stealth and combat. They took out the outpost near that base within a matter of minutes. This base is very important to us; it manufactures weapons and ship parts. If it were to be destroyed production would decrease quite a bit. Kill all of the rebels, leave no survivors.”
Lucidious nodded and left the room. He hears Night’s voice, “If you don’t return I’ll know you’ve run away and I’ll tell the Imperials that you’ve betrayed us.” Lucidious had stopped in his tracks and after digesting the information said to him he began to continue to his shuttle. As he lifted off to head to the Imperial base he thought about what his master said. He pondered whether he should really try running away or not. He knew he had to train. His master was holding him back, not realizing his true power.
The ship landed at the base’s landing platform just on top of the base. The base sat in a valley surrounded by cliffs. An Imperial Officer came to meet him with a few stormtroopers, “I’m Brigadier Zxxavien, you were the one sent to help us defend the base is that correct?” Lucidious glanced at the officer from the corner of his eye and nodded. The Brigadier smiled, “Excellent! We’ve been in dire need of assistance since we got word of the rebels heading this way.” Lucidious began to talk strategy, “These rebels are highly trained in stealth and combat, how are you prepared?” The smile quickly faded from Zxxavien’s face, “We have stormtroopers in trenches at the front of the base grounds; after the trenches are a line of four AT-ATs and one AT-ST commanded by Colonel Acht. I’m also sending out stormtroopers after the trench troops have been taken out.” There was a pause Lucidious looked at Zxxavien with a raised eyebrow, “I highly recommend snipers and half that force guarding the rear.” Zxxavien nodded and sent the command to his troops.
After minutes of getting ready the rebel troops appeared all over the place. A few came from the front, a few from the rear, and the rest scattered throughout the cliffs. Lucidious ran to the troops at the rear who weren’t as well prepared. Lucidious concentrated on the rebel troops. He concentrated hard and then it happened. The rebels at the rear began to smoke and burn. They screamed and shouted and then fell to the ground smoking. Lucidious signaled the Imperial troops to head to the front.
Rebel troops in the cliffs sent ropes down and repelled to the base. Lucidious took quick notice. He threw his saber at one soldier and attempted to use the force to choke another. The choking failed and only caused discomfort in the soldier, however, the saber cut a rope and sent a rebel falling to his death. Once his saber returned to him, Lucidious ran towards the front of the base. The troops in the trenches were being annihilated. Some rebels were even getting out of the trenches. AT-AT blasts were killing both rebels and imperials. Colonel Acht was scared and didn’t know what to do, “I’ve never encountered rebels like these. They’re… undefeatable!” Colonel Acht sent his AT-ST on a minor retreat towards the base, “I don’t want to be taken out so soon!”
Lucidious leapt into the trenches and began swinging his saber at rebels. He had exhausted himself too much from using his Deadly Sight ability. It was all up to his saber now. Most of the rebels were now going after the AT-ATs and one after the AT-ST, the rest were in the trenches. Lucidious knew that without the AT-ATs the defense will fail. He climbed out of the trenches and ran at the rebels screaming, unleashing his hatred on each and every one. The lone rebel heading to the AT-ST was unstoppable, he was dodging laser blasts. He pulled a detonation charge out of his utility belt and threw it at the AT-ST. Lucidious watched in awe; there was nothing he could do. The detonation charge landed between the two eye-slits of the command viewport. The rebel ran carelessly away from the AT-ST and ended up getting shot many times while the charge beeped away. After a few slow seconds passed the charge blew up with the AT-ST. Once the explosion finished there was nothing but the legs standing. Colonel Acht was dead. Suddenly Lucidious realized how quiet the battle had gotten. He could hear the humming of his lightsaber and footsteps, but no blaster fire. He looked towards the trenches and instead of Imperials he caught the sight of the last few remaining rebels heading towards him with their blasters trained on him.
“Give up, you’re surrounded!” One of the rebels shouted. Lucidious looked around and saw no one but dead bodies. Lucidious still had his saber activated and shrugged at what the rebel said, “I don’t see any more than just the three of you.” One of the rebels pulled out a small device and pressed a button. The device appeared to be a signal. When the button was pressed the device emitted a green light. Several rebels got up from their positions in the cliffs and from the trenches. There were more rebels than Lucidious cared to count and he knew he wouldn’t be able to fight them all so he willfully surrendered.
Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 7)
Lucidious sat in a rebel troop carrier with his hands cuffed. Every surviving soldier had their guns aimed at him, all ten of them. The Commander spoke, “Don’t try any of your force powers or we’ll end your life right here,” Lucidious chuckled, “Like that will even matter in the future.” The Commander raised an eyebrow, “What do you mean?” Lucidious looked up at him. The Commander had his blaster pistol aimed at Lucidious’s head. Lucidious replied, “My master will have the Empire turned on me any moment now. He told me that if I didn’t return he’ll know that I have run away and he’ll tell the Empire that I betrayed them.” The Sergeant of the group stepped forward, “So that’d make you a rebel now right?” Lucidious made an evil chuckle that frightened some of the rebels, “Rebel? No! Never! I’m an Imperial and I’ll always be one!” The Sergeant returned to his seat without a word. The rest of the trip was silent until the troop carrier landed on a field.
The door of the troop carrier opened and a breeze came in and cooled off the interior. The Commander picked up Lucidious and escorted him out of the ship and onto the field. It was just an empty meadow. Some hills here and there, but there was nothing in sight. The Commander escorted Lucidious over to a random console built into a pile of rocks. The Commander pressed some buttons and there was a bleep. Suddenly the ground began to rumble and a piece of the meadow moved aside and exposed an underground passageway. Lucidious was escorted into a subterranean rebel base by the rebel special forces unit. He was taken to a prison sector. There was an officer at the prison sector. He was in a big room and behind him was a well guarded hallway that seemed to go on forever.
“Name and occupation,” the officer demanded. He stared at Lucidious tiredly and the Commander watched him closely with his blaster pistol still aimed at him. Lucidious realized that it didn’t matter now if he released his real name, both forces would be after him anyways, “Rudin Karr…” and when it came down to occupation he didn’t know what to say, but then again what did it matter, the officer and Commander recognized the name the moment it spilled out of his mouth, “You’re Rudin Karr? The legendary smuggler?” The officer’s jaw was practically on the floor the Commander responded to the question, “He’s got to be a different guy, this one’s a sith. The scar is all wrong anyways, it’s in the shape of an L, not just a straight line.” The officer gathered himself and said, “Oh, how disappointing, almost had ourselves someone important. Take him to cell… AA-23.” The Commander lead him to the cell, he opened the door. Inside the cell was a fur cover lizard half the size of Lucidious wearing a tattered red vest. The prison guard pushed Lucidious into the cell and shut the door.
Lucidious turned to his cellmate who was starring at him, “What do you want?” The fur covered lizard shook his head and said, “Sorry, never seen a blue person with red eyes,” Lucidious retaliated with, “Yeah and I’ve never seen a fur covered lizard.” The lizard chuckled, “Obviously you haven’t been to Coruscant, my name is Lyeeaph’rt and I’m a Moocher. You can call me Leif for short.” Lucidious introduced himself, “I’m Rudin Karr and I’m a Chiss. No I haven’t been to Coruscant… did you say you were a Moocher?” Leif nodded and said, “they call every fur covered lizard like myself a Moocher. Are you the Rudin Karr the thief?” Lucidious nodded and Leif said, “Oh boy, it’s nice to meet a legend. You know there’s a price on your head right?” Lucidious wasn’t surprised, “I can’t imagine why.” Leif nodded and continued, “Yeah, so what are you in here for?” Lucidious raised an eyebrow at his cellmate, “Do you always talk this much?” Leif shrugged, “I just want to get to know my cellmate.” Lucidious said, “Well I was defending an Imperial base that these rebels and they captured me, how about you, why are you in here?” Leif told his story, “Well I was in Anchorhead picking up some spare parts for my ship and a couple rebel soldiers become interested in my ship and catch some illegal contraband and send me here. My ship is still sitting in Anchorhead now, hopefully locked up.” Lucidious nodded and looked around the small room, “So do you have any plans for escaping?” Leif’s head dropped and he shook his head slowly. Lucidious remembered the force, “Wait a minute…” Leif picked up his head and watched Lucidious. “You might want to stand behind me,” Lucidious suggested.
Lucidious didn’t know if he’d have enough strength to conjure up the force power he necessitated to get out of the cell. He held out his hand, palm facing the door. He concentrated on the force power, summoning as much energy as he possibly could. Eventually the ball of energy formed and Lucidious yelled and hurled the ball of energy towards the door. The ball of energy exploded and blew the door straight out. Rebel guards came running to the cell while Lucidious collapsed to his knees panting. Leif stood in awe at what had just happened, “The famous thief is actually a jedi!” Lucidious shook his head, “Not a jedi… a sith.” Leif’s eyes grew wide at the statement.
The rebel prison guards rushed into the room shouting, “What the hell was that!?” Leif stood there shrugging and Lucidious was on his knees panting. One of the guards rushed in to grab Lucidious. Once he touched Lucidious he pulled back, “Ouch! What the hell?” The guard had gotten burned after touching Lucidious. The guard aimed his blaster at Lucidious. Leif was frightened; he didn’t know what to do. Suddenly Lucidious began to shout in extreme pain. The rebel guards’ eyes grew wide with fear and they cowered over crying for help. Lucidious tried to stand and barely managed. He saw Leif, he saw his expression of disbelief, “How did you…?” Lucidious cut him off, “I’m a sith and I’ve been trained so since my group was killed. Now let’s get out of here.” Leif came out of the cell first. He looked for a weapon on one of the guards that he could use and found the Alliance Needler. He picked it up, shot the horrified guards, and asked, “Now where do you think your lightsaber might be?” Lucidious nodded towards the front of the prison hall. Leif snuck towards the front and noticed the officer watching the door. Leif put the barrel of the needler to the back of the officer’s head, “Don’t move a muscle buddy, now where’s the lightsaber?” Lucidious walked in front of the officer so that he could see him, “In the storage closet!” The officer shrieked as he pointed to the small door by the desk. Lucidious opened the closet and found blasters, armor, and his lightsaber. He picked up his lightsaber and shut the closet. He nodded to Leif who later shot the officer in the back of the head, “Aw crap.” Leif said remorsefully, “We could’ve found the safest way out of here, but I guess not.” Lucidious said, “Now we got two options, the front door or find a back door.” They both looked at each other and decided to find a back door.
After a long while of searching for a back door they couldn’t find one, which left one option, the front door. Lucidious looked at Leif and said, “Alright I think there’s only one way we’ll be able to do this and I don’t think you’re going to like it.” Leif got nervous, “Go ahead,” Lucidious sighed and said, “Alright, one of the guards you killed was fat, I’m thinking I put on that suit, you crawl in to make me look fat and I’ll carry the needler.” Lucidious rubbed his eyes at his thought and Leif asked sheepishly, “Do we have any other options?” Lucidious shook his head, “Unless you want to run out the front door facing an entire base.” Leif sighed, “Alright, let’s do the fat guy thing, but I highly doubt anyone will go for this. Wait a minute, question, how will we fly out of here?” Lucidious’s eyes widened, “I haven’t thought about that, I guess we’ll have to sneak into the hangar and find something.” They both shrugged and began to try out the “fat man plan.”
Lucidious walked out of the prison and many rebel soldiers began giving him looks, “This is not going to work,” Lucidious angrily whispered to Leif. Lucidious approached one of the rebel soldiers and asked, “Where is the hangar?” The soldier replied, “This is a subterranean base, we have no hangar, you’ll have to ask the guys up top about transportation.” Lucidious found the ramp he came down and began to walk up it to the transportation. He opened the door and noticed the only transport available was the troop carrier. He froze and the pilot looked at him and asked, “So do you need a ride or what?” Lucidious was surprised that the pilot didn’t even recognize him, “Oh, uh, Anchorhead,” Lucidious said.
Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 8)
The troop carrier arrived on Anchorhead and Lucidious got off the transport with Leif stuffed under the rebel guard uniform. Lucidious whispered to Leif, “Which docking bay is it in?” Leif whispered back, “34.” Lucidious walked over to the docking bay and asked, “I’m in the bay, what type of ship do you have?” Leif replied, “It’s a Corellian YV-664 light freighter, is it there? Is it okay?” Lucidious looked at the ship and declared nothing was wrong with it and replied, “Yeah, it’s here and it’s okay.” Lucidious unzipped the jacket to the rebel uniform and Leif came leaping out, “Crap it was hot in there!” Lucidious chuckled, “Sorry, I was nervous.” Leif said back to him, “Yeah, yeah whatever.” Leif opened the hatch to the ship and ran right inside. Lucidious just walked on board and observed the ship’s interior taking mental notes of where certain things are. He dropped the Alliance Needler he’d been carrying around right in front of the ship’s hatch. Leif ran up to Lucidious, “So what do you think?” Lucidious nodded, “It’s definitely a nice ship.” Leif nodded fiercely and then asked, “So where do you want to go?” Lucidious instantly remembered his master, “I have to pay a visit to my master.”
The two entered the ship’s cockpit and Lucidious typed in the coordinates, “Hey thanks for taking me with you, the first time I did this the guy left me.” Leif nodded, “Hey it’s the least I can do, you got my out of prison and risked both our lives doing it, you deserve it. By the way are we... partners now?” Lucidious looked at Leif and said, “I hope so, I’m going to end things with my master and then we’ll head where ever.” Leif thought hard and asked, “So you got beef with your master, huh?” Lucidious chuckled and said, “I guess you could call it that.” Leif was a little perplexed, “You seem to be to nice to be a sith… or a galaxy famous thief.” Lucidious responded, “I know, I find it weird myself.” The ship successfully left Tatooine without any troubles from the rebels or Imperials.
After a long ride the ship reached Darkness’s Den and Lucidious turned on the ship’s comlink system and said, “This is Darth Lucidious to Darkness’s Den, requesting to open the hatch.” Suddenly a voice came over the comlink, “Hatch opening, once you land send us a message and we’ll close the hatch and begin the flow of oxygen.” The ship landed successfully and Lucidious said over the comlink, “We’ve landed, you can shut the hatch and begin the flow of oxygen.” After a few minutes Lucidious got up and said, “Time to settle things,” he left the cockpit, opened the ship’s hatch, and left to the entrance of his master’s lair.
Once he got inside the lair he noticed Night was standing, waiting for Lucidious. Lucidious sensed a strange presence, “Master, I’ve returned. The rebel forces had captured me, but luckily I escaped.” Night didn’t say a word, in fact he didn’t even move. Lucidious froze in his tracks, something was truly wrong, “Is that your excuse?” Night asked. Lucidious became frightened, he was too weak to fight or even use a minor force power, “Master I tried to fend off the rebel forces, but they were too strong, they were just like you said.” Night maintained the same position, “Brigadier Zxxavien reported back to me and said he didn’t see you fight.” Lucidious was now pissed and scared, “I was there, he met me when I landed, I had told him about a battle strategy!” Night stood there listening and then activated his lightsaber. Lucidious did not want this to happen until he was ready, “The base didn’t fall thought!” Night slowly began to walk towards Lucidious who was realizing the meaning behind his name:
God’s Experimental Prodigy
He realized that he was only meant to be temporary. Lucidious ran for the door and it would not open. He stood frightened as Night came closer and closer with his lightsaber activated. Lucidious knew that now he would have to kill his master no matter how weak he was. He drew and activated his lightsaber. Night continued to walk closer and then the battle began. Night was on the offense while Lucidious was on the Defense. Their lightsabers swung viciously attacking and defending. Lucidious thought of a move that could paralyze his master. While on the defense, Lucidious crouched and once the moment approached he angled himself towards Night’s abdomen and used a quick burst of force jump ramming his head into Night’s abdomen. Night fell to the ground and could not breath, his hand hit the floor and his saber rolled away from his reach. Lucidious pointed his saber at Night’s throat.
“So this is how you want it to end, Lucidious?” Night asked wheezing. Lucidious nodded and said, “I never want to work for you again.” Night looked at his lightsaber and said, “Don’t you want to make this a fair fight?” Lucidious shook his head and replied, “You don’t deserve a fair fight.” Lucidious swung his lightsaber and decapitated Darth Night. Suddenly there was a light from his body. Night’s body began to glow and unleash winds. Lucidious decided to run instead of finding out what this was. The door was still forced shut so Lucidious cut a hole in it and ran back to the ship. Once Lucidious got into the ship he closed the hatch and deactivated his lightsaber.
“Hey, what’s that glowing in there?” Leif asked, Lucidious didn’t answer and got on the comlink, “Open the hatch, please.” The hatch of Darkness’s Den began to open and the air began to shoot out of it. The ship lifted off and got out, successfully. Suddenly from behind them there was an explosion that shook the ship slightly. After the shaking stopped Leif asked, “So what was that glowing in there?” Lucidious shrugged and asked, “Where to now?” Leif shrugged and replied, “I guess to Taterellious where I was originally heading before those rebels captured me.”

Re: Star Wars: Tales of a Sith (CH 1)
Sadly I have to end the story here, I've been too busy with my own projects to keep up with what I've written. I'll let you all fill in the blanks with how it ends.
