Always Changing

Time we know is passing by,
Its seen us laugh, its seen us cry.
We've told the truth and sometimes lie,
Till it comes for us to die.

Remember all the memories of old,
Secrets that are never to be told.
A life where neighbourhoods were friends,
Even with a chance to make amends.

It was all so different then,
No angry wars made by men.
Living without all this fear,
Or being killed from the rear.

Life was filled with joy and laughter,
Not this tale of sorrow after.
Where strong families are broken,
Leaving heartfelt words unspoken.

So why can't we all get along?
And sing a more joyful song.
Stop this world that we've been breaking,
Lets start anew and get creating!
