Thread: A birthday toast.

Happy birthday? o.o

But in all seriousness i can relate to this. As the years go by, my birthday just becomes another day of the year for me. I think this poem is a good one, niot because of the subject matter, but for straying from the beaten path. Remembrance is normally a positive thing, where as you have taken it and squeezed all the happiness from it. Not an easy task, and i respect that. Nice job!

It actually is my brithday this week (friday actually) and it seems like everyone is moving on and leaving me behind. All of my friends are going on to new wonderful things. Even the girl of my dreams has stopped talking to me so... I managed to kill memories but that's only because as I grow older the less happy things I have to remember. Props on catching the last dose of sarcasm.

P.S. I hate walking the beaten path. Unfortunately it's a lonely one. There's actually a lot behind the thought opf this piece even if I didn't manage to convey it very well.

ahaha I'm not so weak as to kill myself. I'm much stronger then that. I'm just going through my last spell of teen angst.
