Give me pain, give death, give me what my inner true soul desires
Touch my skin, pierce my flesh, make me scream into a bloody death
Squeeze me here, pinch me there, hurt me with whatever you conspire
Take my love, drain me dry, kill me and take my last breath
Die, Die, Die is what you yell to me as you run towards me
You shake and push me around with all your strength
As if I am a rag doll that is not to let be
I try to push you away but you are not at my arms length
You stand above my motionless body watching me struggle
You take upon a shape of a fist with your hand
As you lean down and hit me upon the cheek you stumble
I take that as a sign and try to take you down but yet you still stand
You throw your foot at my side hitting me hard
Bloods is coughed up from my throat as I spit it on the floor
I throw up my hands as if that were my guard
Then there was a knock and knock that saved my life, at the door
You spit on me and tell me to stay as if I am dog
I get up and tell you no more will I take this from you
My vision unclear as if there is a something covering my eyes, a fog
But yet my ground I will stand I will be renewed
Anger fills his face but yet the knock at the door still lingers
He turns away and answers it, it is not what he expected
He his knocked to the ground and they step and crush his fingers
He will no longer hurt me for I will always be respected

Wow..i must say this, ur title caught my eye when i was searching through the poetry section. Once i read it i was amazed. This poem is brilliantly done. Sometimes being goth allows u 2 be more in depth with ur feelings. Congrats. Would love 2 c more of ur poems

Outstanding. Not everybodies story can be a happy one. You certainly captured the essence of a woman horribly beaten and disrespected while allowing are minds to imagine who the modern day prince or princess charming may have been. You kept the consistent throughout the story which must have been hard to do through twenty eight lines. And never lost focus of the story or changed perpective. That is not easily done.

Well honestly it was going to be a poem about sucide but I took it in another direction. And sometimes I would stop so I really wasnt all that focus. I am surprised it stayed on topic. I took me like two days to complete lol. But thank you both ^^
Amazing words. A truly way to give a "kick" to those all mistreaters.
