As the world turns these days
Everyone seems so afraid.......
Of each other,
Themselves,
Even just nothing in particular.
Peace In The Middle East still a pipe dream
A Crusade bound for failure
Muslims, Jews, and Christians always riling things up.
A bad joke that's never too mature
Yet taken too seriously
Little nation led by a crazy troll in a jumpsuit and shades,
warped by Communism-Lite
Playing with uranium enriched toys
Scaring all the girls and boys.
Eyes glued to the TV
Paranoia lingering like a bad VD
From devious bankers to crappy corporate bailouts,
Who's side is our government really on?
From them, it seems I just hear the same old song
It gets old.
As the weed smoke drifts from my bowl
Gunsmoke extinguishes another soul
How far is it all gonna go?
Is it gonna be Ragnarok?
Or is the world about to rock!
I'm ready for a solution,

Yes, I was getting high when I typed it down. It helps my writing, allowing me to establish a flow for ideas to take some sort of shape.
