Thread: Holidays POTM (New Years' Eve)

You stop and stare
the windows are glistening.
There is stuff every where
and everyone around is singing.

There are flakes upon the ground
of cold crystallized white ice
They dance when the wind blows
and you can't help but to dive into them not once, but twice.

The sun seems to hide
behind clouds so bold
to keep this wonderful sight
nice and white and cold.

The year is at its end
and those 364 days are all gone
and changes are to be planed and made
before those last 24 hours are done.

Everyone crowds into the street
to watch what will be the beginning of a new year,
and when the time comes
They can't help but to drink, laugh, and cheer.

New Years Eve happens
but once out of every year.
It allows for new plans
and changes to appear.

Enjoy those last few moments
and grab that one you love dear
and kiss them on the lips
just at the beginning of that new year.
