And now without further ado, the winner of January's POTM...


Life, Death, and Rebirth - zyta

Short, but effective in its simplicity. The theme was followed well and the ideas of life, death, and rebirth came across very clearly. The language used worked with the style, never overdoing it or being heavy handed. And as one judge noted, this was the only entry to "ask what happens when we are reborn...the uncertainty at the end really made a difference." A great little read.

I'll send a PM to you at the end of the month letting you know what to do. Until then, the best route is to check in on the entries occasionally, so you don't have to try reading and considering them all at once. Not much to it really.
