![]() ![]() Credits: 11,307 | January POTM winner And now without further ado, the winner of January's POTM... Life, Death, and Rebirth - zyta Short, but effective in its simplicity. The theme was followed well and the ideas of life, death, and rebirth came across very clearly. The language used worked with the style, never overdoing it or being heavy handed. And as one judge noted, this was the only entry to "ask what happens when we are reborn...the uncertainty at the end really made a difference." A great little read. Congratulations zyta, as POTM winner your poem will be stickied and featured on the homepage; you're also invited to be a guest judge for February's POTM. Honorable Mention to fireandice, who came in a very close second. The theme for February's contest will be posted shortly. |
