And, take away the freedom of another.

Freedom of fabrications, lies and fake smiles.
And, the freedom to turn the tables all around.
We could go as far as our minds could expand.
...After all, it's only us that keeps us bound.

We're free to hesitate, before we make new starts.
We're free to not do anything at all..............
If she makes herself a target, he should break her heart.
So she's free to seek a savior from her fall.

IS freedom an absence of constraint?
Or does it more so help define our limitations?
Real freedom is outside the box.
When you exceed your own expectations.

Playing in the park, a missle flew in, they heard no alarm.
A bright flash and shaking, then all that was left was her arm.
Joined a rebel band to kill those they were told are to blame.
To the parents back home the fate of their kids is the same.

Even as I am writing this brave Iranians are demonstrating and being run down by armed men. They are doing this because they understand that freedom is not free. Likewise people on both sides of a conflict fight for freedom.

Apparently Caesar and Cleopatra were intimate. Perhaps that was forbidden by Egyptian law? Who's to say when freedom is such a precarious thing..
