We need someone to put to end those Long reigning corrupted Tyrants seated in thrones to gain our freedom
We need soemone or group to slay them all for once and for all!

im not banned anymoree!!! or is it still too late :/ xD oh well i dont really care anymore... my poetry it seems is not good enough for the people on here so i doubt i will be posting in the potm anymore... when you put your heart and soul into a piece of work only to have it shot down time after time i see there no reason to continue with my "rhymes"

You are at your best when your writing about what you want to write about. There is still the poetry forum and you always dominated that.

The deadline was June 30th, you were still banned as of yesterday so I am sorry but I can't allow your entry. As far as your poetry, you are an idiot (that isn't an insult as much as a smack to the face for a wake up call). If your poetry needs the approval of others then you are writing for the WRONG reason.
If you love to write then write, enter contests and others will notice. Write for others approval and they will notice that too...just not in the way you will want them to.
I love to write poetry but I couldn't careless if others understand or appreciate it. Sure everyone wants to be recognized for the skill and talent they have but to a real poet or writer that might not ever come or maybe just not in their life time or maybe they get a lot of attention now but fade away over time. Which is why you should write for you, the sharing and their opinion on your work... is a perk.

Please may I remind you that this is a voting a thread and due to reasons stated in Chiefy's post, You are not entered and I would say it is it too late seeing as the poll is all ready up.
However, on a personal note... if you are only writing poems to be recognised then what are your poems for? Poems are heart felt emotions that are personal to you. It shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference if people don't read them. Its the fact that you expressed your feelings whether people like it or not.
Edit - It Appear's that Chiefy has already said the same thing even though it took me a while to write it.

After reading through all of the poems. I really did like the uniqueness in the approaches. Although, in some of the poem's, the variations in line length broke the flow and it left me a little disappointed I should say mostly in EmoNightMare's and receiverofhell. I did like the use of religious views/references in TaurusDemon23's poem. As well as Beasts poem being a dedication. Both idea's never really came to me so its nice to see work from different angles'.
Now the top choice's of mine are HolderOfTheDarkChalice and PhoenixSara. But my vote goes to PhoenixSara. The reference of a hateful female, just really seemed interesting and in same case's right in world. From my perspective it felt like the evil of mother nature, back to seek revenge. Thats what made it so appealing because it was so different and beautifully written.

I am happy our resident laureate is back. Besides to qoute Ric Flair "If you wanna be the man you have to beat the man.' And the cunning Starfire may have won had it of not been for a disqualification. it is great that we have one of the sites best poets back.
