And the winner is....
The kiss of Judas. - Peach_follows
The classic example of the worst kind of betrayal, this poem nails the theme, both in terms of subject and structure. Peach creates a great rhythm from the very beginning, with the lines "As I'm hung here/All strung up here", and the rhyme scheme is consistent throughout the poem. Speaking with the voice of the betrayer rather than the betrayee, it shows the mental state of the deception on the one who committed it; the line breaks and fragments work well to this effect. A really great piece of work, the favorite of nearly all the judges.
Congrats Peach_follows, as winner your poem will be stickied, linked to the homepage and you're invited to be a guest judge for March's POTM.
Honorable mentions to kyzr, Akura13, and Astaroth, also among the judges' top choices.
Just reminder...April's entries are due on 4/29, no later.

What?
I won over "dear mister fridge"?! (That poem was hilarious!)
I was so worried the poem I wrote would have been deemed unoriginal... Seeing as there was another poem that had Jesus as subject matter.
But, I DID work hard on it. It was a good excuse for me to do a little bible study, thats for sure.
Well, thanks again to all who liked it, and to the judges who voted for it.
... Not Ever Again...
