sad topic though >.<
Misery is having looked up to someone and then find out they do not love you
Misery is your dad never remembering your birthday not being there when you are born.
Hitting and screaming at you
Misery is always giving him the benefit of the doubt and then come to find that he has done the same thing to all of his other children before you and will do it after you
Misery is never trusting him ever again
That is misery my friends.

A very heartfelt poem on a very painful subject. I think it is well done.

This poem is very good. It has awsome format. It stir up emotion inside of me. Very well written.
Leonardo DiCaprio is so fine.

i agree with the one who said this. I have known the person who wrote this we are next door neighbors and best friends. And i can tell u that i am glad she got that much off her chest. She has been living with this anger ever since he left and has never thought about her again. He doesn't even remember her birthday and he didn't even go to her highschool graduation last friday. She was heart stricken. She was glad to see her Aunt Kathy. Her Aunt Kathy is taken care her dad(not valeries dad her own dad) he is in bad condition and her Aunt Kathy took time out of that to come to her graduation but her dad couldn't that just makes me mad and it probably makes her mad 2. sorry about this long thing yall.
understandable... I guess. I have the same situation except I live on the dad's side where my aunt Kathy takes care of my dad (oddly and ironically enough we have some parallells my aunt really is named Kathy spelt the same way too and my dad is in no condition to be a father however, it's my mom that ditched out.) So I guess I'd see it from the opposite perspective huh?
Still I guess I can sympathise some... still not enough (it never is.) That being said I like the Emily Browning kinda style, defining something that's normally an abstract or wide concept with very specific and heartfelt emotion. Nice expression.
... and join my rebellion against time.
