The ghosts and ghouls and goblins came over to my house.
With every roar and slamming door they frightened Franken-mouse.
I rush to the lab and saw the slab, all hard and white and clean.
And on that slab of mine they'd hung a sign: "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"

Thank you everyone. I was sitting in Theology class, watching my prof., when my mind poked me and said, "Oi . . . the green witch of Greenwich brewed a spot of tea." It had NOTHING to do with the lecture, but . . . well, the poem was born.

Thanks. I used to write in this style all the time. Writing this poem evoked great feelings of nostalgia.
