Movie of Death <horror>

Some might call me crazy
That I just might be
But I think Death is out to get me

I don't know what to say but I see it in my dreams
Breaking into a sweat with no screams
I am a hitting target under a beam

Aiming for me in the after life
I crapped out with snake eyes in the life of dice
I escaped death once I can't do it twice

Death wants my soul
I feel that I am too young
But if my times up I must be too old

This paranoid insomnia I hate
I am frightened to go to sleep
That's why I stay awake

I am haunted by the Grim Reaper
Being hunted like it is the teacher
Of that demon creature Jeepers Creepers

I believe Death had lost love & drowned
In it's own misery like Voorhees Jason
It reminds me of Leprechaun who wants it's gold back cause it's so impatient

Stays in my nightmares like I lived on Elm Street
Claw it's way into my dreams
As if it's name is Krueger Freddy it seems

Must I walk the dimension of hell
With this determined Hellraiser
The killer of life the ultimate slayer

The thing is I've never seen it's face
Does it even have one
When darkness falls is it gone without a trace

Does it have razor sharp teeth
With stale putrid breath
Is that what lies beneath

Probably have dark beady eyes that bleeds
I don't know really I just wonder

Is that my heart beat sounding like thunder.??

In my dead silence room with a stir of echoes & the covers I'm under

You would think I was playing hide & seek
Got my ears on alert listening to every shriek
While everything around me seems so bleak

Death to me is like the Boogeyman to kids
It's a fear you try not to think of
You just hope to get rid

Who knew that time & I would be at a race
I always knew I was going to die one day
But who says dying was easy as child's play

I always hoped to go peacefully in my dreams
Not taken from bed like a shuddering fear scene
Something that belongs in horror films or the day on Halloween

This is my omen that exist
Too bad I can't repel it with an exorcist

No longer must I wait
The time has come for me to meet my fate

My fortune is already sealed
My soul is the prize & Death made the deal

You truly are kind... I thank you for your praise... I just thought I would write something I was scared of it was either that or spiders... < Just kidding > I just wanted to play death the role of some of the horror/thriller films I watched/seen & see if I could pull it off...

It didn't turn out how I really wanted, but I was running in so many directions it wasn't even funny & if it wasn't for the deadline I probably still be running (I've been having writer's block lately)... But thanks for the compliment I very much 'ppreciate it...

All of your references are great! I recommend capitalizing Death's name, to make It more anthropomorphic, more human, more real (and therefore, more menacing).

COOL! Whats funny about this... Is that through out, there is the Idea of death coming for you. And then you work in the movie titles. But the concept of being hunted by death, reminds me of a movie I don't think you mentioned.... Final Destination.

I love Final Destination! Good movies, all three of them! It's not really a horror series, though; it's more of a suspense.
