Thread: Never whole again

So striken with pain
greed and hate on his mind.
I hate the one who had given me
this curse I bear in my soul.

Innocence taken,
my person he killed.
Now others see me,
as nothing but a freak.

My heart is numb i feel no pain
Yet i feel i can never be whole again.
My body just a shell
I am just part of who i was.

No matter how much i cry now
it can never be undone.
I don't trust anyone
at least not even myself anymore.


author's note i wrote this for my best friend who went through a trauma a few years ago.
