Hmm..yea... i wonder...would the old poems be deleted?

I would suggest to put a small hall of fame for the winning poem..

I think the problem that is occuring with the POTM theme thread is that people aren't reading the whole thread. Just the first one that says freestyle. That's what I read when I looked and I was like "Hey....that was a month ago" and then scrolled down to see the new one and had an "ah hah" moment. And felt retarded. So maybe they're not scrolling down to see the new theme.

I wasn't trying to psuedo mod, but I had to kinda help chiefblackhammer cause NO ONE was paying attention to the damn rules.

It just really pssed me off!

So, are you going to close the poems still open from last month?... because I've seen at least 2 still open. Or are you going to just wait to enforce this rule for this months contest.

Since it was a recent addition to the rules, I decided to leave the active threads open until the end of this month's POTM (unless they reach the >14 day mark, in which case I'll close them sooner). Immediately when Sept.'s POTM ends, I'll close everything that's still from August. All other entries will then be bound to the new rule.
