November POTM winner

Sorry for the delay, but the judges were deadlocked for quite a while...and the winner is...

Thoughts on Time - Mechazawa

The judges felt the tone and flow of the tanka were excellent, and that the title pulled the pieces together with a general theme. It was also one of the most original entries, very honest and well-written. The repitition of the word "irritation" in the last line of each tanka was a neat device, and worked as a good summary of the author's feelings on time.

Congratulations, Mechazawa. As winner, your poem will be stickied, linked to the home page, and you are invited to be a guest judge for December's POTM.

Honorable mentions to Peach_follows and The White Wolf, also among the judges' top choices.

Congrats on another win, Mechazawa. It was a good poem, well written. Your going to be a tuff person to beat. Again congrats on another win.

Man..... that took FOREVER to decide didn't it? That was a tough theme, or at least I thought so. Which is why I'm impressed with everyone who made the effort.

But Mechazawa.... Congradulations for having that special something in your writing.
This would make you a second time winner right? Yeah?

This is the first time I've ever been jealous. But... I like your work so much I can hardly complain. I esspecially love your sensual topics... *wink *wink LOL

I guess its a bit late for this, I should have posted here sooner. I really can't believe I won for a second time in a row. Or sort of a row, since I guest judge the next months POTM.
I'll try to go for the three-peat, in January's POTM. People might start getting mad if I win it again though, eh I'm not going to win it again. My beginners luck has to have been used up by now.

Thanks to all who commented, and I hope Peach_follows was joking about being jealous.
